While fixed rates are up, one of our local banks is currently offering an adjustable rate mortgage program with rates around 5% (as of Oct 31, 2024)! With this adjustable rate mortgage, rates are indexed to US Treasury rates and can adjust up to a maximum of 1% per year. With that maximum cap, you can enjoy below fixed-market rates for several years and refinance when fixed rates are more favorable.

Doing so can save you as much as $500 every month the first year!
